Concept: Girl through the city of Sheffield, discovering the Soul of the city. Finding old vinyls and photos from the 60's, mod and northern soul is reinvented into the modern day age. Bringing together music, working class and Sheffield based talent. An urban take on the 'mods' and 60's styling in the North.
Narrative: Discovering the meaning of northern soul in the modern day. Finding her feet in the city, the girl comes across old records and explores 'northern' in the city. A celebration of Sheffield, the story follows a modern mod girl and the city alongside her.
