Formative feedback Presentation
Today we had our Formative feedback presentations.
We had showcased our progress during the module and the concept of our film. I had done various interviews and based the concept of what people associated with Sheffield though Northern Soul meant. During the presentation I highlighted key words such as "subculture", "music" and "characteristic" to convey the areas of interest showcasing in the film.
The concept was spoken about during the presentation including inspiration from films, location, and Rationale.
Before the presentation we took some shots throughout Sheffield to showcase. We wanted to show the kind of style of photography along with the type of model and MUAH we were looking for to fit the modern mod look of the film. Photos were shot in Vinyl shops, Division Street and outside an old pub.
Feedback: We were given feedback based on our presentation. We were told to keep up with our work and research. The concept was approved and we were told to carry on with the research and the filming. Ben gave us feedback on the film in particular and gave us inspiration via YouTube and take our film as a first draft. We were told to experiment with different angles, shots and places in Sheffield in order to solidify our concept and filming skills.
